(A) Authority for the enforcement of the provisions of this subchapter is hereby vested in the St. Joseph County Police Department.
(B) The Sheriff of St. Joseph County may designate and delegate, in writing, the enforcement authority under this subchapter to any or all of the following agencies:
(1) St. Joseph County Health Department;
(2) Any duly organized fire department operating within the confines of St. Joseph County; and/or
(3) Any duly authorized law enforcement agency, which agency’s jurisdiction to enforce this subchapter shall be concurrent with its law enforcement jurisdiction.
